زمینه و هدف: علاقه و انگیزه تحصیلی دانشجویان از مهم‌ترین چالش‌های دانشگاه‌ها محسوب می‌شود که بر برون‌داد سیستم‌های آموزشی بسیار اثرگذار است. عوامل مختلفی می‌توانند این انگیزه و علاقه را تحت تأثیر قرار دهند که آینده شغلی یکی از این عوامل می‌باشد. در این ارتباط، مطالعه حاضر با هدف تعیین ارتباط بین انگیزه تحصیلی با نگرش نسبت به آینده شغلی در دانشجویان دانشگاه علوم پزشکی تربت حیدریه در سال 1397 انجام شد.
روش بررسی: در مطالعه توصیفی- تحلیلی و مقطعی حاضر، 291 نفر از دانشجویان به روش نمونه‌گیری تصادفی طبقه‌ای انتخاب شده و وارد مطالعه گردیدند. داده‌ها با استفاده از پرسشنامه روا و پایای نگرش نسبت به آینده شغلی و نیز پرسشنامه استاندارد انگیزه تحصیلی هارتر (Harter) جمع‌آوری شدند و با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS 22 تجزیه و تحلیل گردیدند.
یافته‌ها: نتایج نشان دادند که 1/59 درصد از دانشجویان میانگین نمره نگرش نسبت به آینده شغلی متوسط و کمتر از متوسط و 43 درصد از آن‌ها میانگین نمره انگیزه تحصیلی متوسط و بالاتر از متوسط را کسب نمودند. براساس نتایج رگرسیون، نگرش نسبت به آینده شغلی (29 درصد) و مقطع تحصیلی (13 درصد) دو متغیری بودند که انگیزه تحصیلی دانشجویان را پیش‌بینی می‌نمودند.
نتیجه‌گیری: با توجه به ارتباط معنادار انگیزه تحصیلی با آینده شغلی و سطح نامطلوب انگیزه تحصیلی لازم است در جهت کاهش نگرانی‌های موجود نسبت به آینده شغلی در دانشجویان و در نتیجه افزایش انگیزه تحصیلی آن‌ها اقدامات لازم انجام شود.
