Background and Objectives: Clinical education is an integral part of education in medical sciences, the aim of which is acquisition of professional skills for use in future clinical care. The aim of this study was to evaluate the quality of clinical education from the perspective of anesthesiology and operating room students and its related factors in Qom University of Medical Science.
 
Methods: This descriptive-analytic (cross-sectional) study was performed on all students of Anesthesiology and Operating Room of the Qom University of Medical Sciences in 2017. A total of 104 students were selected using census method. Data collection tool was a demographic characteristic and clinical education status questionnaire. Data were analyzed by independent t-test and Pearson correlation test.
 
Results: In this study, Anesthesia students with a score of 73.73+71.12 and operation room with a score of 75.46±10.29 had a relatively good clinical education status. Among the demographic variables, only the relationship of feeling of job security with clinical education status was significant (p<0.05).
 
Conclusion: Considering the role of the quality of clinical education in the learning of theoretical content and its application in the student's professional future, it is necessary to correct the defects of clinical education and strengthen its various aspects.
