Introduction:
Leukemia is commonest cancer in children. Incidence and survival rate of leukemia in different area of world is various because of continental situation and environmental, genetic and race, cultural, social and economic factors. Gole of this study is assessment of survival rate in ALL & AML children in Qom and effective factor on it.
aterials and Methods: M
Method of this Study was historical cohort on all children hospitalized in Oncology’s ward of Hazrat Masoumeh Hospital in Qom from 1386-1401.We have gotten informations from hospital’s folder of patients and A Questionnaire arranged from first part of TOPQOL questionnaire and Sibe questionnaire of Health Ministry.It complete by Telephone interview. Statistic analysis has been done by Cox Regression model and STATA software. Correlation of all variables as: age, sex, habitation, age and weight of birth, blood group & RH and ect According to Rahimi study with 0/8-1 validity & 0/05-0/95 stability checked with survival rate.
Results:
In this study assessed very variables that probably affected on appearing leukemia in 196 children by frequency & descriptive analysis and correlation. Only blood group and RH related with survival rate. Decreased survival rate in O blood group, positive RH and Mean of Survival rate variable in ALL group.was 102±59/4 & in AML group was 81/5±44/2.
Conclusion:
blood group and RH influenced on increase chance of affection leukemia. Mean of Survival rate variable in ALL group.was 102±59/4 & in AML group was 81/5±44/2. Conclusion survival rate in ALL group is longer than AML group.
