Background and Aim: Motorcycle users are mainly young people. In addition to suffering from accidents, high medical and economic costs also cause many problems for the families of these people. Therefore, the aim of this study was to determine the individual factors associated with motorcycle accidents in patients referred to the emergency department of trauma hospitals in Qom in 1399.
    Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study was performed on 228 people injured in motorcycle accidents who were hospitalized or outpatient in Shahid Beheshti and Forghani hospitals in Qom. Inclusion criteria included the age group of 14-65 years, with motorcycle injuries, and informed consent to participate in the study. The instruments used in this study included a demographic information questionnaire, a motorcyclist driving behavior questionnaire and an injury severity scale system. Data were analyzed using SPSS software version 22 using logistic regression test at a significance level of 0.05.
Results: The mean age of these individuals was 29.51 86 8.86 and the mean score of the motorcycle driving behavior questionnaire was 54.30 21 21. According to the results of logistic regression, four mood variables, helmet use, motorcycle certification and number of able passengers The changes in the nose depend on the extent of the motorcyclist's injury.
Conclusion: The most important reasons for the occurrence of unsafe behaviors is therefore, according to these issues can be reduced by training safe and correct driving, control and management of traffic behavior and the creation of training campaigns to reduce traffic hazards and injuries
