Background and Objectives: In health centers, like other organizations, to achieve organizational goals, there is need to consider employees’ organizational trust and organizational learning capability to improve their affective commitment. This study aims to investigate the relationship of organizational trust and organizational learning capability with affective commitment in healthcare workers
Methods: This is a descriptive-correlational study on 141 employees of health centers in Farsan city in Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari province of Iran, who were selected by a convenience sampling method. Data were collected using organizational learning capability scale, organizational trust scale and affective commitment scale. Statistical analyses were done using descriptive statistics and analytical tests (Pearson correlation test and regression analysis) in SPSS software, version 24.
Results: There were significant and positive relationships between organizational trust and affective commitment (r=0.395, P<0.001), between organizational learning capability and affective commitment (r=0.405, P<0.001), and between organizational trust and organizational learning capability (r=0.412, P<0.001).
Conclusion: Organizational trust and organizational learning capability in healthcare workers are directly and positively related to their affective commitment. The relevant authorities are recommended to improve the organizational trust and organizational learning capabilities of healthcare workers to strengthen their affective commitment.
